Kate’s 3rd Birthday

Today my big girl turns 3! I can’t believe that 3 years ago today we were in the hospital waiting on her big arrival. I remember calling my parents and telling them we were at the hospital and they needed to head to McKinney. I just knew that they would get there before Kate arrived, but later I found out that when I came into the hospital I was already 9 cm dilated! So my labor do not last long and in less than 4 hours after we arrived there, Kate was born. She has grown up so much this past year. We have gone from potty training to wearing big girl panties all the time (even at night). She has learned so much this year at Shelley’s and I am looking forward to seeing what she learns in the coming year. She knows about 20 to 30 different signs in sign language, her numbers 1 to 10 in Spanish, ABC’s, colors, numbers, and so much more. We are surprised everyday with all the things she knows. She loves her sister and is very protective of her. Yesterday on the way home from dinner, Danny was reprimanding Abigail for doing something wrong and Kate responded with a “Hey, you don’t be mean to my sister”. It was classic.
