We had a non-stop weekend, but we had a lot of fun. We started the weekend off with a trip to Waxahachie to see my niece dance in her recital. While we were there, we got to spend some time with my parents, brother, and sister in law. We are looking forward to the Perkins-Casey family reunion in a couple of weeks where we will be able to spend more time with them. We had to leave in the middle of the recital to head back to McKinney for Manda Maxwell’s 30th Birthday party. I am so sad because this is the only event that we did not get any pictures. We were so glad to spend the afternoon with Manda and few of our closest friends. The girls also had fun playing at the splash pad.
After a busy Saturday, Sunday was just as crazy! After church we come home to relax before the Hanna Bar B Que. This was the first Hanna party we have gone to where kids were invited – and it was a blast! The girls made some new friends and we had a great time hanging out with friends.
And finally the ending to our great 3 day weekend was another busy day. We started the day off with doing yard work and planting flowers – getting ready for this weekend’s birthday bash.
After the girls took their naps we were off to our final bar b que of the weekend – the Bogue’s house.
They say that Memorial Day is the unofficial start to the summer and it is going to be a busy summer for the White Family. We will start the summer off with Abigail’s birthday bash, then a family reunion, vacations, Danny’s mission trip, and hanging out with friends and family. I think we only have one weekend this summer that we don’t have anything planned!
