We knew that we wanted to end our vacation by going to the Magic Kingdom so we could end the night with the parade and fireworks again. Danny surprised the girls with breakfast with Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland. So we woke up early and headed back to The Grand Floridian for the character breakfast. This was the best breakfast we had all week!!!
The girls ready to meet the characters.
First up was Winnie the Pooh.
They were so excited to see Mary Poppins again.
Then came Alice in Wonderland. She was so sweet.
The final character they meet was The Mad Hatter. The girls wanted to have a silly picture with him
As soon as we got to the park we went straight to the line to wait to see the Princesses. The first princess they meet was Rapunzel. They had waited all week to meet her!
Next was Princess Aurora.
Finally they got to meet Cinderella again.
After meeting the princesses we went back to do a few things that we missed the first two days.
We climbed up in the Swiss Family Robinson Tree house.
Then did magic carpet ride.
And then Danny and Kate went to ride Splash Mountain. (no pictures but she loved it!)
So while they were on the ride, Abigail and I waited to meet Jesse and Woody.
Kate made it just in time to get a picture taken with them too.
Our last ride for the day was the Haunted Mansion. The girls had a great time.
After lunch we headed back to the resort for one last day of swimming.
Abigail stayed close to Danny and I.
Kate loved hanging out with the big kids and playing the games.
Picture for earlier in the day – loved that Abigail was holding Tinkerbell.
Now back at the Magic Kingdom ready for the parade and fireworks show.
We ate dinner and went and found the perfect spot for both. We had to stay there for about 1.5 hours but totally worth the wait. We got to know our neighbors really well.
Abigail and the castle
She wanted to take a picture of me – I was exhausted!
Kate ready for the parade.
Love these two crazy girls.
and this one is a nut sometimes.
They loved the parade!
We had a great ending to the best family vacation ever! I hope you have enjoyed all the pictures because we had an amazing time and made so many great memories. I hope the girls don’t ever forget this vacation. I can’t wait to go back again in a 2 or 3 years when they are just a little older and taller so that they can do more things.
Up next party planning for Abigail’s 4th birthday!
