So glad that it’s finally Friday!!! This week has been jam-packed with everything from a PTA board meeting, to volleyball camp carpool, girl’s night out, and lots of family fun in between. I am exhausted and ready for the weekend just typing all of that.
This week on the blog
Then yesterday I joined Michelle for her weekly link up and the topic was Book Wino – so fun!!! I talked about 4 different books that I currently have on my kindle and 3 delicious wines to enjoy while reading said books.
A few months ago Obstacle Warrior Kids opened in McKinney and the girls have been begging to go since the day it opened. We finally had time this past weekend so Danny took the girls up there to try it out. Just imagine American Ninja Warrior but on a way smaller scale and at kid level. However, I am pretty sure I could not do all of these obstacles if I tried!!!
Favorite Things Party
Wednesday night the girls from our church group all got together for a Favorite Things party. If you have never heard of this, or not been to one, check this link out because it will explain everything. I have hosted two Favorite Things Parties and they are a blast. I always get some good items.
Here I am ready for the party – I never take selfies but my friend wanted to know what I was wearing, so……
I decided to do something completely different then I normally do for a favorite things party. I purchased the following product, and I have to admit, I LOVE IT!!! I have very sensitive skin and I needed a shaving cream that would not give me little bumps or a rash. My friend recommended this cream to me and I was sold. As far as I know, you can only purchase this item online or in an adults only store, but every girl needs this in their life.
The girls did their third sports camp this week – volleyball. Kate loves volleyball and hopes to get to play it this Fall or Winter. However, Abigail had more fun playing with her friends and the teenage coaches, but at least she tried out a new sport.
They were so glad to have lots of friends at camp.
……..and then this happened the last day. Kate sprained her ankle, mildly, so she says. 😦
Last night we took the girls to go see The Secret Life of Pets. It was HILARIOUS!!!!
Tonight we will enjoy some family time before we send our girls off for a week with the grandparents and we will have a KID FREE WEEK!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
