I feel like this has been the longest week ever. We have had a busy week and of course we already have a jam-packed weekend planned.
Pretty sure our girls (along with every other kid around the US) were walking zombies on Tuesday and in a sugar coma. We had a great Halloween but hate that it was on a school night. Now time to get ready for a weekend full of fun with friends and time for me to share my Favorites from this week!!
Let me just start by saying that I don’t want to get all involved in everyone’s politics. However, it is our right as a citizen of this great nation to go out and exercise our right to VOTE!! I love what Max Lucado said… I know exactly what November 9 will bring. Another day of God’s perfect sovereignty. He will still be in charge. His throne will still be occupied. He will still manage the affairs of the world. Never before has His providence depended on a king, president, or ruler. And it won’t on November 9, 2016. “The LORD can control a king’s mind as he controls a river; he can direct it as he pleases” (Proverbs 21:1 NCV).
Now on to some fun stuff. If you missed my Halloween post you can check out all of our fun HERE
One our my favorite pictures from the Trunk or Treat held at our church.
And we snapped a quick family picture while we were out trick or treating on Monday…
We have had a lot of singing going on in our house. Kate has her first big Honor Choir performance next weekend at the Texas Legends Basketball game. They performed their song for the entire school during their assembly yesterday morning and they did an amazing job.
Kate and Abigail will also be singing SOLOS during the big Deck The Halls service at our church in a few weeks. We are so proud of all of their hard work they are putting into learning their songs.
They decided on Wednesday night that they wanted to be apart of another big Christmas concert that benefits our community.
We are scheduled to take our family pictures this Sunday by our amazing photographer – ZT Photography. Zack has taken our pictures for the past five years and he always does a fantastic job! I always stress out about what we are going to wear for pictures every year but this year is a little different. We are not going to be in matching outfits, but just in styles that represent each of us. Here is snapshot of what we are planning to wear…
Me , Abigail (in the dress) and then Kate’s outfit.
and then Danny’s shirt ties everything together
Now that we are past Halloween I always want to get out all of our Christmas decorations and start decorating for the holidays. However, this year we have decided to put up all of our decorations during the Thanksgiving break. Even though I can’t look at all of my beautiful decorations I can at least start listening to Christmas music thanks to my SiriusXM subscription. 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend!!
