Wow this has been a crazy week!! I am so ready for Christmas break because I am ready to have no alarms and no schedules!
Every December our school holds an event called Jingle Bell Jog. They ask that each student joining to bring an unwrapped toy or game to donate to our Shop ‘N Share event benefiting families of a local school. So this past Saturday we spent the morning at our school and the kids had fun running laps around the school.
Then it was time for our first Upward Basketball game of the year. I was so nervous about the game but the girls did an amazing job!! They won and they all played so hard. I was very proud of the girls. I had a friend snap some pictures for me since I was not able to take pictures while I was coaching.
Saturday night we got to enjoy a fun date night celebrating our friend’s 40th birthdays…
Sunday night we attended the The Gift of Christmas held at Prestonwood. I talked about this last Friday and you can click here to see a video from the show. However the video does not even compare to seeing the show in person. It was amazing!!! We all enjoyed the show and hope to go back again next year.
Kate also had a busy week.
Tuesday night we attended a presentation at school and she was recognized for participating in a PTA program called Reflections.
Last night we attended the Eddins Christmas Performance. Kate and the entire Honor Choir and Wildcat Choir did a great job!
We have had a great week and we are now looking forward to a weekend full of Christmas fun with the family.
