Stitch Fix Box #5 Review

My Stitch Fix Box  this month arrived the day I left for our New York City vacation so I quickly looked through the box and I was so excited to see that I got FIVE tops!!  That is exactly what I needed.

The first shirt I tried on was the Le Lis – Alante 3/4 Woven Back Knit Top.   When I saw this shirt I didn’t know what to think about it but after trying it own I was in love with it!!  It is perfect with a pair of jeans or I can also wear it with my dress pants.

It looks like a plain black shirt from the front…

but then you see the the back!  LOVE!!

VERDICT – definitely a keeper

The next outfit was the Loveappella – Evie Draw String Funnel Neck Sweatshirt.  The minute I saw this shirt I new that I was going to love everything about it.  Yes it is a Sweatshirt but it is a LIGHT sweatshirt.  It is so comfy and you can dress it up with a pair of jeans or going for the casual look and pair it with some cute black leggings.

VERDICT – Kept it 🙂

The third outfit was a cute vest – Market & Spruce – Wilco Solid Quilted Vest. If you look this vest up on Pinterest you will see it comes in several color options but I absolutely love the dusty rose color.  I have never been a huge vest fan but I have seen so really cute vest outfits so I thought I would give it a try.

VERDICT – Kept it

So let me just be honest the fourth top I tried on was not my favorite – Skies are Blue – Hillsboro Mixed Material Hem Knit Top.  I tried it on at home and I thought it would work.  I then wore it while we were in NYC and I liked the outfit. However, once we got home and I paired it with a my black work pants I was not a huge fan.

The white piece at the bottom is actually a part of the shirt…

VERDICT – decided to go ahead and keep this top

Finally, I was also hesitant on keeping this pullover – Lemon Tart – Kiernan Striped Elbow Patch Pullover.  The sweater was very comfortable and light weight but I felt like it was a little to big and not flattering.

VERDICT – even though I thought it was too big I kept it.

Even though I was not happy with every item in my box I decided to keep everything so that I could get the 25% discount – this is the best part of keeping all five items.  If you decide to sign up for Stitch Fix (which everyone should at least try it once) just remember you don’t have to LOVE every item.
