Woohoo, I’m so glad that it is finally Friday! This has been a very long week. We’ve had two major storms in our area this past week. So we’ve had a lot to clean up and very little sleep this week. I’m so glad that the weekend is here and we can watch the girls play soccer and relax.
Today I thought I would do a post all about my Spring Favorites. Here are a few things I look forward to each year.
~ONE~
When you live in Texas it is a must to take pictures in the bluebonnets. They only bloom in the Spring and you typically have 2 to 4 weeks to find them and get some cute pictures. We are going to go take pictures next weekend.

Every year I look forward to the girl’s field day at school. When I was growing up we did not have field day in elementary. I had no clue what “field day” was all about when I heard people talking about this event. Once I saw the sign up list I realized that it was just a morning of fun activities for the kids to do with their class.

One of my favorite things to do during the spring is eat dinner on our back patio. When we eat dinner outside it is always free of any distractions and we can just enjoy time together as a family.

Easter is always a fun time around our house. The girls are finally old enough that they don’t believe in the Easter Bunny so we don’t have to stress about hiding eggs before they wake up! However, we still do Easter Baskets. I always wait until the last minute to put their baskets together, but not this year. I have already started looking for ideas on Pinterest. Now that the girls are getting older I want their basket to be full of things they can actually use.
Here are a few Easter Basket ideas I have found…

That is a wrap for fun Spring activites. However, if you missed my blog post this week you can check them out here…
I loved my post on Tuesday – Top 10 Pictures. It was so fun looking back at all of our old pictures but it was so hard picking just 10 pictures to share.
Wednesday I shared my What’s Up Wednesday post. We have had a busy March and we are looking forward to April and summer in our house. You can check out all of the fun HERE.
I hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful WEEKEND!!

I always love seeing the bluebonnet pictures everyone in Texas takes 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I used to love when it would get warm enough in the spring/summer when I was growing up in MN & we could go eat supper or lunch in the porch or on the back deck.
I really need to get my act together. I have lived in Texas for 5 years now & have no bluebonnet pictures of my own…
Wow, love those bluebonnet photos (the one with the tears cracked me up) and the fact that it’s so warm in Texas! Those pics cheer me right up…we’re expecting a cloudy, cool day up north. 🙂 Have a happy Friday!
We didn’t make it to take bluebonnet pictures…my kids are at the age now they really don’t entertain my begging. I was just thinking yesterday I need to up my game and do baskets again this year. I’m pretty sure last year I failed altogether. Fun beach towels have always been an item I’ve liked to add! We were so hoping Riley was going to be coming to Corpus for minor league ball but it looks like NC…so I really need to get on the ball if I’m going to send him a care package. I haven’t spent Easter with my boy in 5 years 🙁
I would LOVE to get some bluebonnet pictures, they look so amazing. However, we do not get them up here in Washington. I love the Easter basket ideas. I have been looking for things for Maddi and Guy, I like to throw in a swimsuit and towel to their baskets and some flip flops but need ideas for the rest. I hope you weekend is relaxing!
Love all the bluebonnet pictures (especially the last one😉). You are making me want to grab my scissors and bring back my bangs. Love your cute hair!
Those bluebonnets are just gorgeous!! I need to add it to my bucket list to see those!! Those pictures that you guys take every year are just beautiful. Have a great weekend!
Gosh those are beautiful flowers! We have them sparsely around here but not in that incredible volume! We love eating outside too! It’s one thing I totally look forward to. Relax, girl, enjoy your weekend! xoxo
Blue bonnet pictures make this {Matilda Jane obsessed} Tennessee girl drool! They are the best pictures. Happy weekend
Dining outside is the best! Love all those bluebonnet pics! Have fun with your photoshoot this year! 🙂
