Making Memories

Bucket List

I am always planning activities and Bucket Lists for my kids, but I rarely stop and put together my Bucket List of things that I’ve always wanted to do/try.  So today is the day that I will share my top 10 things that I hope to do one day.  Some of these are items that are dreams, but others are things that I think I could accomplish within the next ten years.

I would love to get this tattoo on my side…

Nose Piercing

I would love to get my nose pierced.

Hot Air Balloon Flight

I’ve always wanted to go for a Hot Air Balloon Flight.  We see them all the time around our neighborhood.  Every time I see one I tell Danny that one day we will go for a ride!   Image via Rohr Balloons (local company)

Mediterranean Cruise

There are a lot of places that I would love to see in Europe and I found this Mediterranean Cruise that has several ports that are on my bucket list!!  The cheapest room is $2500 a person!!! So this is probably one trip that I will have to wait several years for, but maybe one day I will walk the streets of Santorini and Athens, Greece.

Alaskan Cruise

Another cruise that sounds amazing would be an Alaskan Cruise.  However, when I think of an Alaskan Cruise, I think of a boat full of people that are all retired.  So maybe this cruise will need to wait until we are in our 50’s.

Go to Las Vegas

Even though I have heard mixed reviews about visiting Las Vegas I still want to go!  I would love to see some of the shows and just enjoy a weekend away.  We still have a trip to Vegas on our calendar for later this year, hopefully we’ll be able to make it happen.

Go to the Monaco Formula One race

Every year starting in March, Danny loves to watch Formula One racing.  I’ve found myself looking forward to watching the races and keeping up on all of the news.  I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve even considered planning trips to watch a race.  This hasn’t happened yet but maybe one day we can go to one of the exotic locations for a race (Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Abu Dhabi, or Singapore).

Trip to Spain

I love to visit places that have a lot of history and Spain is one of those places.  Every picture I see of Madrid and Barcelona look amazing.

Trip to Germany

Germany is one place that Danny has been four times and has loved his time there.  I would love to take a family trip there one summer.

After reading this BLOG (Seven Graces Blog) I really want to pack my bags and go this weekend!

Just for fun….

If I was to do all of these within the next year the grand total would be around $27,000 (that includes taking Danny only on the trips – no kids).

  1. Oh this is fun! So needles and I cannot hang so I couldn’t do one and two. I have done three! Vegas sounds fun and I say “one day” to that! I am on the rail about Europe….maybe I will just move to the BVI’s?!?!? #dreaming XOXO

  2. I have always wanted to go to Vegas too! I would love to go to all of those places you mentioned. And I really like that tattoo. I like the placement too, very easy to cover. I have always wanted to get my nose pierced, it looks so cute. My sister has hers done and I love it. I love your bucket list!

    1. I would love to have a nose piercing but it is against our dress policy 🙁 so maybe when I leave later this Fall I can do it then. I am hoping the Vegas trip works out. As for the rest they will have to wait a little longer.

  3. Oh my goodness – so many amazing spots to visit. I love love love cruising and would love to visit the Greek Islands by cruise too! Ouch though I never looked into the pricing, not to mention who would watch my kids. I am with you, this might have to wait. We have talked about the Alaskan cruise with my whole extended family someday! Thanks for linking up, I think these lists are so fun and a great way to get to know one another better! xoxo ERIN
