Happy last Friday of the year! I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. Today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite moments of this past year. So grab a cup of coffee (or two) and enjoy my look by at 2017.
We kicked out 2017 with Kate’s 9th birthday.
She had a fun time celebrating her birthday with her friends at a local trampoline park.
Next up Danny and I headed to New York City for the first time in almost 15 years. I loved spending time with him in one of my favorite cities.
While we were in NYC Danny found out he had to go to Paris for a work meeting so we decided that I would join him for a few days. Paris was so magical. I can’t wait to go back one day.
We rocked out at our girl’s 80’s school dance.
The girls had a wonderful time with Danny at the Daddy Daughter dance.

It has been a few years since we have been able to take pictures in the bluebonnets fields but this year my friend’s field was full! I was so excited to drive out and get some beautiful pictures of the girls in the bluebonnets.
April was also full of Easter activities.
The girls participated in their school Fun Run! Abigail won 1st place out of all of the 2nd graders.
Every May I look forward to our girl’s field day. Our girls have so much fun playing the wild and crazy games.
After we finished field day we loaded up our car and headed to south Texas. We were able to go and celebrate Danny’s grandparent’s 70th wedding anniversary!
I loved celebrating Mother’s day with my sweet girls.
Every year our school’s 3rd graders host a Mother’s Day Tea. Everyone told me to be prepared to cry and they were right!
We ended May with the girl’s talent show performance.

Then school started!
It is hard to believe that I have been out of high school for 20 years! I loved spending time with all my friends and see how much my hometown has changed in 20 years.
AND…I left my job!!! I have worked for the past 14 years but we decided that this was the year that I would leave my job. It was probably the hardest decision I have ever made but it has been so rewarding.
Since I had some free time on my hands I decided to start playing tennis with my friends.
