Stitch Fix Review – #13

I still get so excited when my Fix arrives on my front porch.  Even though I already know what is inside the box I still can’t wait to try on every piece.

I scheduled Fix #13 to be delivered almost 2 weeks after Fix #12 because I was not happy with the items I received.  Even though I do style my own Fixes there are definitely times that I miss the mark on what I think will look good on my body.  I do want to become more adventurous with my Fixes but for #13 I wanted to find pieces that would be perfect for our trip to Chicago.

The first item I tried on was the  41 Hawthorn – Cena Twist Hem Knit Top.  This top is VERY similar to the Laila Jayde top that I received in Fix #10 but I think I love this top more.  I love the little front knot – so trendy.

I was looking for a sexy top that I could wear out to dinner so I picked the Mixed Threads – Alameda Sheer Detail Top.  Let me just say this shirt is so comfortable!! The one negative for this top is you have to wear a strapless bra.  Which for me is not a big deal but I know that for some women they hate to wear strapless bras.

I knew that it was going to be really cold in Chicago so I needed a heavy sweater.   The 41 Hawthorn – Roma Textured Striped Pullover was the perfect sweater for the Windy City.  It has been one of my favorite tops this winter.  It is so cozy!  I usually pair it with my T4T leggings (from Fix #9) and converses.

I’ve been dying for a pair of moto jeans so I decided to try the Pistola – Audrey Moto Detail Skinny Pant.  These pants are really comfortable but I’m still struggling with finding the perfect outfit to wear with them.

Velvet is every wear this season so I jumped on the bandwagon and tried the Collective Concepts – Audriana Velvet Back Blouse.  I really wanted to like this top but I was not a fan of the mixed materials.  It also did not sit very well on my body.

Sorry for the crappy pictures but I wanted to make sure I had a picture before I shipped it back.

Overall this Fix was a great Fix.  I really do like trying new pieces that get me out of my comfort zone.  In fact, I have been encouraging my clients to try something new this year.

If you decide to sign up for Stitch Fix (which everyone should at least try it once) just remember you don’t have to LOVE every item.
