What’s Up Wednesday

It’s the last Wednesday of the month and that means one thing, it’s time for this month’s edition of my favorite linkup – What’s Up Wednesday.

What we’re eating this week:

Sunday: breakfast for dinner

Monday: Hat Creek (school spirit night)

Tuesday: Italian Chicken (crock pot) – totally forgot to put this in the crockpot, so we got take out

Wednesday: dinner out before church

Thursday: pork chop and veggies Italian Chicken (crock pot)

Friday: Daddy Daughter Dance

Saturday: date night

What I’m reminiscing about:

Warmer weather, beach vacations, swimming in the pool…

I am so ready to be laying beside our pool.  My legs are so white.  We are still at least 2.5 months away from warmer temps but once the temperature gets above 80, I will be heading outside for some vitamin D.

What I’m loving:

I have loved coaching my daughter’s basketball team!  They have not lost a game in three years, so I have a lot of pressure on me.  We have three games left and, fingers crossed, hopefully we keep the streak going.

What we’ve been up to:

We have been spending a lot of time on the basketball courts…

and a lot of time cheering for Kate on the volleyball court.PhotoGrid_1516507479003.jpg

What I’m working on:

This week I have been working on cleaning out our game room closet.   I typically have to clean this closet out once a year.  This year, I have purged a lot of the stuff that was in this closet and the girls have no clue what I threw away!

What I’m excited about:

Last Friday I shared what I am excited about… I can not wait to take our girls to New York City.  We will be leaving in a short 40 days or so!!  I’m also very excited about our vacation to Oahu and Maui!  It is still 5.5 months away, but with everything that we have going on this spring, it’ll be here before we know it.

What I’m watching:

This Is Us  – I know gasp!  I have been recording all of the episodes this season but I have not had time catch up.  However, this week I have been binge-watching the show and I only have two more episodes left until I am all caught up.  I think I have cried every episode!

What I’m listening to:

I am loving this song from  Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey – The Middle

What I’m wearing:

Last week I shared my latest Stitch Fix

and I also shared my Pin It/Spin It outfits…

What I’m doing this weekend:

Friday night Danny will be taking the girls to the annual Daddy Daughter Dance.  And then Saturday we have doubleheader basketball games and doubleheader volleyball games!!!  After we finish with our games, Danny and I are going out for a date night. Finally, we will end a fun weekend with a Super Bowl party at our friend’s house.

What I’m looking forward to next month:

Next month I am looking forward to all things Valentines!

  1. Good luck at keeping that streak going! How exciting and fun to watch, but I bet you do feel the pressure! I am excited for Valentines Day too! What a fun recap of your month. I love organizing my kid’s stuff when they are not around too!

How exciting that you guys haven’t lost a game in 3 years! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the streak continues!! I’m not completely caught up on This is Us…but I absolutely love it!!
You guys are going to have so much fun in NYC and Hawaii! I was just telling my husband I would like to go to NYC in the summer months. Every time we have been it’s been in December, and while it’s absolutely gorgeous at Christmastime there, I would like to go when i’m not freezing, haha =)
    Have a great Wednesday!!

New York City is so pretty during the winter but I think I would love it more during the summer because I would not have three layers of clothes on. Hahaha! I really hope I can get caught with This is us before Sunday!

Thanks! My girls play several sports and basketball is the only one I can coach and have knowledge about the game. I am clueless when it comes to soccer, softball, and volleyball.
