By the time all of the rain moves out tomorrow afternoon we’ll have received around 9 inches of rain in our area! However, this weekend the weatherman said we’ll see the sun!  Woohoo!

We’ve been very busy this month, so today I’m sharing a few of my favorites from the past two weeks.  I hope you enjoy a look into our life lately…

Valentine’s Fun

I always look forward to Valentine’s every year. This year I was in charge of Kate’s Valentine’s class party. We played some fun games and made a cute craft. I wasn’t able to sneak away to Abigail’s party but her sweet teacher texted me a cute pic of her and her BFF.

The weekend before Valentine’s we had a couples dinner at a local French bistro. We ended our night at a jazz bar.  My friend took these amazing pictures.

Wine & Cookie Party

Last week I held a Wine and Cookie party!  This party was a huge success!  All my girlfriends had so much fun. I’ll definitely be having another wine party this summer when it’s warmer!  You can check out my PARTY BLOG POST HERE

We finally had our last basketball game and the girls did an amazing job this year.  The girls have now won every game they’ve played in the past three years.  We’re now ready for softball season to begin!

Kate has also finished her volleyball season.  They are currently in 1st place!  This weekend they’ll play in a postseason tournament and fingers crossed they come in first place.

Alamo Project

When you are in 4th grade at our school, you’re required to build the Texas Alamo.  We Kate finally finished her project last night!

The finished product…

School Fun

Our school held their 20th celebration this past week.  The honor choir kicked off the celebration.  Then each grade had a dance that they performed for all of the parents.  It was so fun to see all of the teachers that used to teach at the school.  And a lot of the past students came too!  I love our school and neighborhood!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
