Stitch Fix Review – Fix #16

I’m in process of filling my closet with some fun items for spring and summer.  If you have ever thought about signing up for Stitch Fix I would encourage to sign up NOW!  The items that have been popping up for Fixes are so cute!  Now time to talk about my Fix #16…

I have determined that I’m in love with wearing dresses!  I guess since I don’t have to dress up for work anymore, I’ve decided that when I do go out I love to wear dresses.  I love the dresses that tie at the waist because it makes me like thin and defines my waist.  When I tried on the Collective Concepts – Tory Button Detail Ruffle Dress I loved it!   Yes, the dress has a low neckline but you could always wear a black tank underneath it.  Also, it has little stars all over it that from a distance they look like white polka dots.

When I tried on the Skies are Blue – Muller Ruffle Detail Blouse I thought it was really cute.  It is actually white, red and blue and would be perfect for a 4th of July Party.  However, I really didn’t like the way it fit my body.  It was also a little big in the armpits.

I have way too many jeans but I’m always looking for the perfect pair of jeans.  All of my jeans have a 28-inch inseam and seem to be just a little too short.  So I decided to try a pair that had a 29-inch inseam –  Liverpool Kay Skinny Jean – and the fit was horrible!  For some reason they seemed way longer than 29 inches!  When I took pictures I had to roll these jeans up way too much and they looked ridiculous on me. So I decided that I’ll stick with the 28-inch inseam.  I’ve also determined that I just love the way my Kut From The Kloth jeans fit over other brands.

Black is my favorite color!  I have probably way too many black tops but I love to add cute tops to my closet, just like every lady out there 🙂 .  I loved the detail on the Hazel – Lesie Cutout Sleeve Detail Top.   Again this top looked really cute on; however, it was way too big!  You could see my bra through in the armholes – not a cute look 🙁

I saved the best for last!  I LOVE the 41 Hawthorn – Carol Tulip Sleeve Blouse!  First of all, this top is classified is a “loose” fitting top.  I typically prefer fitting tops and not loose fitting tops because they like a potato sack on me.  However, when I tried this top on I loved the way it looked on me.  The number one complaint I’ve received from clients is that it’s “low cut”.  I honestly didn’t think anything of that because I like v-neck tops.  Every time I wear this top I get so many compliments.

Even though I only kept two of the five pieces I would say that this fix was successful.  I love trying new styles and branching out of my comfort zone.  Again this spring is the perfect time to sign up for Stitch Fix.  Also if you want to have a great Fix I would suggest that you read this POST – How to Have A Great Stitch Fix Experience

    • Thanks!! They are so comfortable and perfect for Spring! I have some ladies that when they are in the process of losing weight they will only buy tops. 🙂
