Stitch Fix Review – #17

If you are new to my blog I just wanted to let you know that I’m a stylist for Stitch Fix and I style my own Fixes.  I love my job and I love being able to pick new clothes to try out every month.  I usually try to stick with a theme each Fix. When I was selecting pieces for Fix #17 my goal was to find items that’ll be perfect for our summer vacation.  So let’s take a look at Fix #17.

So with my vacation theme in mind, my first selection was this top from Skies are Blue – Heidi Cold Shoulder Ruffle Blouse ($54).  I’m not a huge cold shoulder fan but many of the clients that I’ve sent this top to have loved it.  So I thought I’d give it a shot.  After trying it on I absolutely love this top.  It’s so comfortable too.

Verdict – KEPT

I’ve been looking for a pair of capris jeans for this summer.  I picked the Just USA – Janelle Destroyed Cuffed Crop Straight Leg Jean ($58).  Once again I loved the way these pants fit. They are the perfect length.   They look great with wedges or my converses.

Verdict – KEPT

Since I’m not working anymore I really don’t have nice shirts that I can wear with dress pants to church this summer. I love the scallop detail on this blouse from 41 Hawthorn – Dawney Scallop Trim Blouse ($54).

Verdict – KEPT

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this maxi dress from Le Lis – Ranada Faux Wrap Knit Maxi Dress ($78). When I saw it in our inventory earlier this year I knew I had to have it for our Hawaiian vacation.  Doesn’t this dress just scream HAWAIIAN LUAU!  Once I tried it on I was in love. This dress is so beautiful in person and I love the way it fit my body.

Verdict – KEPT

I love polka dots but this dress from Market & Spruce – Tammi Dress ($68) looked horrible on me. The dress is supposed to cinch up at the waist however it really didn’t get very tight. So, therefore, it just looked very boxy on me. I also didn’t like the top of the dress or back. So needless to say this dress went back.

Verdict – Returned

I love trying new styles and branching out of my comfort zone.  Again this spring is the perfect time to sign up for Stitch Fix.  Also if you want to have a great Fix I would suggest that you read this POST – How to Have A Great Stitch Fix Experience

If you decide to sign up for Stitch Fix (which everyone should at least try it once) just remember you don’t have to LOVE every item.
