Wednesday morning we woke up early because we had planned another busy day. After we picked up our rental car, we headed to Pearl Harbor.
Sadly, you’re not allowed to walk onto the USS Arizona Memorial now because there is a crack in the structure that supports the ramp on which the visitors must walk. So we watched a documentary and then got on a boat that took us around the harbor.
Visiting Pearl Harbor is always so emotional and I’m so happy that we were able to take the girls to this historic site.
After a morning of learning about Pearl Harbor, it was time to have some fun. Our next stop was Hanauma Bay. We had brought snorkeling gear for us to use but the girls were unable to figure out how to snorkel so I stayed on the beach with the girls while Danny enjoyed swimming around the bay.
Thursday was a travel day to our hotel in Maui.
