Friday Favorites

So happy that it’s finally Friday! I think we’re all still in a sugar coma at our house. We had a wonderful week and before we kickoff our weekend I’m linking up with a few of my favorite bloggers to share a few of my favorites from this week.

Danny and I had a night out in downtown Dallas. We thought it would be fun to attend a big Halloween Party this year.  I loved our costumes but the party was way to packed! We decided we are not big party kind of people.

Wednesday morning we woke it to a gloomy day, perfect for Halloween.  The girls headed to school in the their cute Halloween shirts.

After school it was time to get ready to go trick or treating.

The cute cheetah and Tinkerbell were ready to go.

We love trick or treating with our neighborhood friends.

I always have so much fun with my partner in the crime.

Danny and I decided to dress up too…

Now that Halloween is over I’m ready for Christmas!! Yes we are those people that’ll have all things Christmas up before Thanksgiving.  I was so happy when I turned on the radio and heard Christmas music today.

And then my day was complete when I discovered that Hallmark’s Christmas movies have started!!

Finally, yesterday was a big day for me.  I have been waiting to for this follow up CT for several weeks.  (If you don’t know why I need this CT you read about it here and here).  Yesterday I went to a local imaging office for my first Scan since August. So many different emotions were going through my head yesterday.  I’ll get the results back late today or Monday.  Please pray that all of the dissections have healed and pray that I don’t have any new ones.  I have to admit I may look like I have it all together but I am very nervous.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!

  1. Definitely praying for good results! Love all the Halloween photos and I just can not get over the size of those butterfly wings; I thought my niece’s wings had been big for her but she’s got nothing on those.

  2. I am going to be praying big prayers for you. I love the Halloween costumes for you and Danny and your girls are adorable too. What a fun Halloween! I am also all about Christmas now that Halloween is over…I haven’t broken out any decorations (I still have my pumpkins up) but I have listened to Christmas music and went to Pier 1 to oogle over their Christmas stuff. Hahha! I love this time of year! Have a great weekend!
