Hawaiian Vacation – Maui

I’ve finally finished my last post from our Hawaiian Vacation.  Prepare for picture overload but I just wanted to do one post about our time in Maui.

Our first morning in Maui was very relaxed.  Kate and I enjoyed a little walk around the resort before we headed to breakfast.

The resort was so beautiful!

After breakfast we changed into our swimsuits and headed to the pool.

After a full day in the sun we walked over to Monkeypod Kitchen for dinner.

We woke up early and headed out to eat an amazing breakfast at Slappy Cakes Maui.  Abigail was excited that she got to make her own pancakes.

Then we headed to pick up our rental car and we were off to Hana. If you ever go to Maui you have to drive the Road to Hana. So many beautiful places to see along the way. We used app from Gypsy Guide – Road to Hana and it was amazing!!

We loved all of the waterfalls.

This was one of our favorite waterfalls.

Here is just a few pictures from our drive.

My favorite part was the black sand beaches!

We got back to the hotel so late and went straight to bed!

SUNDAY – Father’s Day

We woke up and we were all ready to enjoy our last full day in Maui.  And Danny got to enjoy his Father’s Day relaxing poolside and learning how to SURF!

After breakfast we headed straight to the pool and beach ALL day!

After a wonderful day poolside we headed back up to our room to get ready for the Luau.

MONDAY – Last Day in Paradise

I would love to have this view every day but sadly we had to pack up and head home.

We were all sad to leave and can’t wait for the next time we can comeback to Maui.

Now it is time to begin the 12 hour journey home.

Quick stop at the lounge to eat dinner and grab some drinks

Off to the mainland we go…

Finally home and we were all craving Mexican food, however, one child couldn’t stay awake. I guess that is a sign of a great vacation!
