Thanksgiving 2018

Every year when we sit down for Thanksgiving dinner I’m always thankful that we’ve had a pretty normal year.  Every year has been just like the year before, a few bumps in the road but overall pretty good. Looking back at 2018 my family and I have so many things to be thankful for this year. This year definitely takes the prize for being the hardest year and definitely a year that I never want to repeat.

This year we decided to stay home and celebrate Thanksgiving as a family.  We made so much food but it was so nice to be together.

Before the cooking started the girls and I had a movie date. We went to see the Nutcracker and The Four Realms.

Then it was time to start cooking…

Up first was making the brine for the turkey and this amazing cranberry sauce

And of course a glass of wine. 😂

And just like that the turkey is ready for Thanksgiving Day.

Yesterday morning I started preparing for the big meal at 8:00 am. I was thankful for my little helper.

We had carbs, carbs, and more carbs. I’ll definitely be hitting the gym today!!

Finally, everything was ready!!

An amazing and very yummy dinner!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Now we are off to have some Christmas fun!

  1. Thank you so much for messaging me about the cranberry sauce, you have no idea how much that meant to me. Also, I love your spread! What a fun day. I am with you on hitting the gym. My gosh, I am still full from our 2 o’clock dinner. Ha! Enjoy the rest of your weekend with your family Jessica!
